How Do I Know What Information I Need?

Great question! A lot of times business owners are trusting marketing companies to know what questions to ask. What if they are always going to focus on the financials and the yes and no response? What if that is just not enough information for you? That is okay! But maybe you are not sure what else you need. Here are some potential questions for you as the business you can ask yourself to see what information you might be missing:

  1. What do my employees think of me?
  2. What do my customers feel as they walk in the door, what is the vibe?
  3. Do clients feel good about their purchase while leaving?
  4. What is my target audience? Is it too broad? Too narrow?
  5. What areas do you want to see your business grow in?
  6. What specifically are you going to use the data you receive for?
  7. What type of marketing am I doing now that is or is not working?
  8. What impressions are people getting from my store front?
  9. When an employee or customer says they are satisfied, what are they satisfied with?
  10. Am I able to give clear communication in my expression of needs to those around me? Am I missing marketing or helpful language for the majority of people?

These are some great starting places to ask yourself. This allows for self reflection, empathy, compassion, and some healthy business criticisms to weed out where you may be stuck in what you are wanting to do! If you are stuck on what you need to figure out - give us a call and we can help you narrow it down and figure out your goals, ideas, and desires!
