Laura Moulton M.A, LPC, NCC, CIMHP, CCTP-II, CAGCS, ACS the founder of Mountainside Consulting. She ran her own counseling business for seven years before transitioning into qualitative and supervision-focused work. After graduating in 2015 with her Masters of Arts in Counseling from Denver Seminary, Laura has worked in private practice settings, community health settings, and eventually opened her own practice in 2017.
Laura is a mother of three daughters and is a native to Colorado. Laura is married to a Veterinarian. She reads in her field for fun. No seriously, for fun. Neuroscience and brain chemistry, neurochemistry, neuro-pathways are just some things you will find Laura geeking out on daily.
Laura received her undergraduate degree from CU Denver in Sociology. She received cum laude and distinction for being in the top 10% of her university. The letters after her name mean: LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), MA (Masters Degree), NCC (National Certified Counselor), CCTP-II (Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level 2 - currently there are only two levels to get) CIMHP (Certified Integrated Mental Health Professional: For example, she has education on nutritional knowledge and how it relates to mental health), and ACS (Approved Clinical Supervisor).
